i love how you are nonchalant about a Breitling being a "knockaround" haha even if its a steelfish....oh well the SA with batons looks nice, indeed.

Thanks BB - I really appreciate the thought mate, but I have a spare manual that covers the B17 movement. OK, it's from a Superocean, but the info about the movement is the same, so if the worst comes to the worst I can sell it with that.

Unfortunately, the COSC certificate and the Warranty booklet are the most important parts and those aren't replaceable unfortunately. (Well, the COSC cert is, but only if I send it to Breitling and pay 30 odd quid and wait about 4 weeks for it to arrive).

I may just get my AD to verify it's authenticity in writing to give any buyer confidence that it's all above board, and leave it at that.

But as I say, it's offers of help like that, BB, that make this place such a great community. Thanks again for the offer.

Mario, this is bidding for the WATCH, not the Breitling truck that DELIVERED the watch. Don't you think that obtaining more watches will distract you form your true quest: to procure every non-timepiece item in the world with the Breitling logo on it?
