I was just curious since I know you're so passionate about it. I do think that the old chrono superocean would be a great watch to reintroduce.

I totally agree - I have only one problem with mine though: the highly contrasting subdials make easy reading of time almost impossible in low light. (At daylight and in total darkness there is no problem.) An all-black, all-blue or blackeye-blue dial would be nice. The Japan limited black dial was beautiful, unfortunately I cannot locate a pre-loved one for sale.

Happened to stop the boutique in Orlando tonight and got a first hand look at the Superocean Blacksteel, very nice, however I am a big fan of the previous generation of SuperOceans. They also had a 47MM Montbrillant done in blacksteel with an integrated rubber strap and blacksteel deployment, no in house movement. This watch will also be introduced at Basel. Rubber strap is similar to those utilized on previous Bentley models in that they are designed for use with that model only. In addition they had a couple of limited edition Reno Air Races Transocean chronographs, the 43 MM version had the B01, the logo was displayed on the dial, and the sapphire display back had the Reno Air Race logo inscribed. The 38 MM was the same as previous models, no display back, but it did have the logo displayed on the dial and inscribed on the case back. The 43MM is limited to 50 pieces and the 38MM is limited to 25 Pieces.

So the B01 bezel is the rider tab version or still the Buck version? And the centre square still there?

Uh hmm, there was no mention of the Chronomat with the Buck bezel in the previous post.
Only the Transocean 01 in different versions which has no "Buck" fonts on the bezel.
All of the above have been well announced already and can be easily found at most ADs and Breitling boutiques.
I don't think we will see anything revolutionary before Basel other than perhaps one or two teasers a few days before.

Oh ok misread the previous post. Curious how the new Chronomat with the new bezel looks like.

I think Breitling has that locked up deeeeeep underground somewhere in the Pyranees, along with all of the gold :lingsrock:

My guess - pure speculation - are the that they're going to do a 180 degree turn on the bezel, allowing for the overall fit of the new 01 Chronomat case. I am 50//50 on whether they shrink the lume dot, but if pressured my guess is they will. So you'll wind up with something like the Evolution bezel on the B01, except maybe without the rider tabs in lieu of the 'smooth' look. They seem obsessed with the notion that the tabs were causing sartorial issues, catching on peoples' sweaters.

I am loath to define what other people percieve as "problems" over the internet, so I'l say this:

Other watches don't attach themselves to sweaters in the same way breitling watches with the old rider tabs did.

I also had serious sweater-problems with the old rider tabs.
