I think I have found the info to clear up the question. The bracelets specified to fit the headwind are 350A and 354A for polished SS, 355A for satin brushed SS. 350A is non-faceted.

So, it seems like the polished headwind had an option for either, while satin only had the option for faceted. I had asked questions about my bracelet when I bought my first headwind, and Ron graciously answered them (on another site), so credit goes to him.

The one on this site IS faceted. Standard.

For the third time, check Admin's Youtube video. His Headwind is on a non-faceted Pilot. Is that standard or not?

OK, I can't stand it any more. This conversation deserves a...

I posted above before reading this. Thank you for clearing it up.

For the exact watch I pictured, what would be a fair price for this watch in nearly mint condition but with no box or papers?

Might as well mention here that we don't post valuation info on the forum, but that you can check eBay completed auctions as a guide....

There's no easy way to say, because there are simply too many variables. Plus, you are talking about a relatively uncommon configuration that some of us (or at least I) didn't even know existed. The advice to check completed auctions is the best option.

Well if I cant know a value, is it possible to obtain the box and paper work if it's not included? Is it wise to buy a breitling without the box and papers?

On a bracelet in good condition AND on the bracelet - $2k-ish. And not unusual for older watches to be missing papers or even the box.

For refernece, here is a perfect one fresh off service asking $2800, so certainly went for less than that. (if Breitling made a 42mm model and it was in this condition, I would pay over 3 for it - I've seen Scott's and it is simply beautiful)

You can buy a box, and if you are lucky some of the paperwork. But you can't buy the warranty book or chronometer cert.
