got my Avenger Skyland in a department store in Tokyo, but I really regret this, should have bought in the Ginza's Breitling boutique... It was the same price and the ambient/service is just amazing!

In Hong Kong where money is the essence. Years ago when your plane landed at the old Kai Tak airfield beside a foul and anoxically black canal that stretched the length of the single runway, and when the captain opened the equalizer valves and let the sulfurous aroma of its slaggy waters briefly fill the cabin, new arrivals would ask, Just what is that smell? Ah yes, the smiling young stewardesses were trained by their airline to say: that is the smell of money.

While on vacation in Mykonos, Greece. When I returned to the U.S., I submitted the VAT reimbursement form to the proper office in Athens (I think) and imagine my astonishment when a check arrived a few weeks later. Love the watch and I routinely get compliments on it.

Seems like most folks buy at ADs, which I've never done. I've owned 6, currently own 2 (with one one the way perhaps , and all came from watch forums or eBay.
