#1602 now residing in Vienna, Austria (seems to be a Navi 01 LE hotspot)

currently on brown calf but changing hourly from bracelet to various leather & croc variants, making up my mind.
nice.

Is this a new pickup Fred? If yes, congratulations!

It is a new pickup, Alex, thanks to this forum; a very pleasant deal.
The bracelet is nice, but even this can not really change my attitude, the LE will probably remain with a surprising combo, the brown calf adds the subdued look I love.

Just came back from my vacation (perfect weather in one of the worst summers in our part of the world) an had this waiting on my desk.

Off topic here and probably only relevant to a few vintage guys, next to it on my desk was another new pickup with grail potential for me, a 1969 Co-Pilot 7650.

What a great way to return to a desk.

just a reply to the pricing of the 01...

i was in a nice juweleryshop the other day and they had one Navi 01 on black leather, what a lovely watch... i could buy it for €5750 ($8200) with a big discount, thought that it wasnt a bad deal but a bit to expensive for me...

normally they wont give such a discount in the netherlands.

Anyone with the #1978?

Also, do you know if it would be possible to track down a specific number or even order it through an AD from Breitling?

Your AD can ask for a specific number and if it hasn't been issued or withheld a a 'special' number (1, 2000, etc) then they can assign it to you.
