Guy's,

However, with everything that I have just said here I STILL maintain that if you put a Super Avenger on a RUBBER Strap and it's not for the purpose of diving you need SERIOUS GUIDANCE and COUNSELING ! Even if you are a PIMP !

I don't entire agree with this statement I happen to wear my SA on a rubber strap and I don't dive as a matter of fact this watch has never seen water and chances are with the pushers as they are it might not even see a pool in the event that its accidentally activated (Have already experienced this playing with the children).

Interesting enough the SA wasn't the watch that I initially intended on purchasing my mind was on a Chrono Evo but when I got to the AD he said "I have the right watch for someone your size and stature" and behold a white dial "NHLPA" dial SA. Not being much of a hockey fan I had to turn down and off I was in search of a none "NHLPA" SA. A few phones and days later I found myself a blue dial SA and loving it.

I alternate between the rubber strap / leather strap/ and bracelet depending on the occasion. Chances are it will be on the rubber strap for the majority of the summer and will be in rotation with my Polar Heart Rate Monitor used for when I'm training.

If it so happens that I missed the section in the manual on the right and wrong way to wear the SA let me know and and being the person that I am I might just end up ripping it out anyways :)

AGREED...i love the diver strap. on the SA it looks soo damn nice. i saw one with a white dial, black diver strap and a 4 karat diamond bezel and the watch was beautiful. theres something about the diver strap that brings a unique look to a breitling. especially the SA.

Altair,

I will be having a Cohiba Maduro Genios his evening and then probably a Monte Christo #2. I love these new Cuban Cohiba Maduro's that came out last year. I' not a Panerai guy though. When I get off the Ling train it will probably be a Carl Bucherer. I finally got to handle one at my tobacco shop the other day because a fellow cigar lover was there with one on and I noticed it immediatley. He took it off and I checked it out, it was the Patravi Traveltech and MAN is that a FINE watch. There is a jewelry store right around the corner from there that is carrying them now. The price is high with a steel bracelet compared to Lings but I have to say that they make the only other 5 rowed bracelet that I like as much as the LING bracelets. The sub dials are very BOLD and and the watch in general is just great. For now I'm quite happy with my Bentley ad SA and especially the Bentley since I added the diamond bezel it really made the watch much dressier. as long as you don't get carried away with too much ICE like some of these atrocious HIP HOP style watches like you see sometimes on ebay and stick with genuine Breitling diamond bezels I find it to be a great addition to an already great watch.

The new Cohibas are fantastic and will age magnificently. I can;t wait till they get a few years on them.

Again great choice on the Patravi Travel Tech, what a fine watch!! Truly stunning design and great craftsmanship. They released a new sportier model that is also very nice. I am definitely going to pick up a variant of that watch once I recover from my recent buying spree.

Enjoy those diamond bezels and Cohibas!!!

Altair,

I normally smoke Cuban Monte Christo #2's, Cohiba Siglo 6 and Romeo Belicoso's but these new Cohiba Maduro's are just fantastic. I can't stop smoking them long enough to get them to age much. I love the way the wrapper is darker in color than the filler. I find they mellow out quite well though in a few weeks with my humidor at a high humidity. I recently tried the new Davidoff Winston Churchill series #10's and for a Dominican I have to say that I was very surprised at how rich and flavorful they are. I have 4 Cohiba Sublimes that are 2 years old in my humidor right now and those are great too but the same problem exists I can't resist smoking them to age them long enough but I did manage to save those 4 for the last 2 years. I may have to have one soon. You are more of an expert on this aging thing than I am but I have to say that these new Cohiba Maduro's are great as soon as you open the box, so after a few years they would have to be spectacular.

Maybe you need to buy so many boxes that you can't possibly smoke them for a few years then you'll definately have some left!

acelldebt, The AD wasn't sure when they'd be getting them in, but I don't think they will be for many months, we'll see. It is definately hard to keep up, moving to Vancouver is costing a bloody fortune and I just got a PAM250 Gymnasium Wall Clock that should be arriving tomorrow ;)

I must admit I smoked a few myself, I am currentely up to three boxes in my personal humidor for aging and one for smoking now. If they are good smoke em!!

Unfortunately I did that with the four boxes of Monte Millennium jars and only have one left, they have gotten ten times better with age. I am kicking myself for not waiting. Seriously the smoothest creamiest chocolaty smoke ever. Like smoking a Hershey bar!!!!

Altair,

I never did get a chance to try those Milleniums, I heard about them and my guy can get them but I haven't had the pleasure yet. The way you describe them it sound like I would really like them. It appears that we have the same taste is cigars if you like those Cohiba's. I have always liked darker cigars. About 4 years ago I got a box of H. Uppman #2's that were almost black and when I got them they were actually a bit harsh. After letting them sit for a few weeks in the HUMI they were fabulous. I'll see about getting my hands on some of those Milleniums.

Time has not been kind on me, but it has been uncharacteristically kind on my cigars. A box of Romeo Tubos I have have actually GAINED in strength AND flavor. They are like little firecrackers!!!

Agreed

That watch looks great. My SA diamond bezel is little different it has 2 rows of smaller diamonds.
