How the hell did I miss this?

For some reason I really like this watch. I really hate the mesh bracelet, but I think it would look great on a black strap. I'm not concerned with the lack of a rotating bezel, all I ever do with the rotating bezel is make sure it's lined up straight. The price sucks, but I'm guessing if they come out with a regular version of it after this LE it will be a bit less. All that being said, I'd take a Navi 01 over this, but I do like that they put the B01 movement in something new.

+1. I think the title is missing "NEW" or something to catch my attention.

Very nice model imo. Classy, elegant, great in-house movement. Its a perfect alternative for a dress watch for those people that arent into the Navi. For some reason, it looks a lot like a Patek to me.

cant say i love it or hate it. i can say for certain that im not excited about it. and like others have said at the pricing of 6700 USD of the SS head, its going to be a tough sell and on top of that a limited discount due to its LE status and i dont see these things flying off the shelf.

whats with Breitling doing all this limited stuff. who do they think they are? Panerai??...lol jk. it is a bit annoying though in my opinion. A true LE should be something under 500 pieces.

I think it will look great on a black crocodile with a fold over clasp. :superman:

i agree that it would look better on a strap. i am really not a fan of the mesh style bracelets.

 The funny thing is, I don't see what's NOT to like about this watch! But then I guess you have to like the Speedy really (which I do) to like this watch.

It's classic, traditional, understated........ just beautiful IMHO. But then as we always say, it's each to their own and the world would be a poorer place if we all liked the same thing.

Personally I reckon this would look great on a black OR. I think the 60's/70's style holes in the strap would really work well with the dial.

You're right about that...I'm not a big fan of the Speedy at all which is probably why I don't like this one. It just doesn't scream "Breitling" to me...seems like their trying to be something they're not which is a bit bothersome. But hey...if people like it then maybe they should continue to be something they're not I guess.

I dont like the Speedy at all, but I like this. I dont like it enough to consider buying one, but I think it definitely has a roll to play in the breitling lineup.

I like this, but it made me think. If it is really 43mm or 44mm, then it should have a 22mm lug width. Does it mean Breitling started to manufacture 22mm mesh bracelets? I wanted to get a Breitling mesh for my Chrono-Matic in the summer, but back then only 20mm and 24mm mesh were available. Is it possible to find out whether 22mm mesh is already available for order?

I wondered that too, and I guess they must be making 22mm mesh now 'cause there is no way on earth that they'd put 24mm lugs on a 43mm watch. You even get 22mm lugs on the 45mm Seawolf : the 24mm lugs only kick in at 46mm watches. I think is safe to say this definitely indicates a 22mm mesh bracelet.

What´s not to like indeed? Stylish, understated, clean, dressy and very classy. A little bland for me, but still a very handsome dress watch. Price a little steep for what you get maybe, but not by a lot. A good addition to the line up and over all a good job by B.
