Thanks, now I want a hamburger, don't start :poke: . How cool would a brushed BB with yellow accents look though? Then I'd wind up with two.

Since I designed it, they should name it after my state bird.. Breitling Golden Finch from the great state of New Jersey.

I'd agree. Something about that "understated" color combination really captures the attitude of New Jersey... I ber you could catch a glimpse of that on the wrist of one of the cast members of "Jersey Shore"

+1. And to be even more controversial, I like the polished SS better than the brushed finish.
Best,

At last! Someone else with a bit of taste!

Polished for me also!

Color the whole thing yellow and slap "Boschett" on there and you can call it a "Cave Dweller." Then you can sell it for $650.

In the meantime, what have you done to my former Blackbird?? I know it was you Sergio. You broke my heart.

I don't like it - and I'm a BlackBird owner.

IMO, Breitling is cheapening the brand and taking a very easy route by offering "special editions" which really only have different colors painted on the watches. I actually really like the new SuperOceans, but offering a variety of 5 different colors seems a bit over the top to me.

If you want to make a watch truly "special," use different materials and/or enhance the movements.

Limiting production on the exact same watch with the only differentiation being the colors on the dial or bezel doesn't make it "special" to me.

I totally agree with just about all of your points. Why the need for SOOOOOO many special editions? How about just one or two special editions a year? And let's get real, is 1000 or 2000 really that limited/special?

I don't know how I feel about different materials, that might increase the price significantly. Enhancing the movement could also be costly, but introducing the B01 movement into more pieces would be nice....but we've asked for that a million times.

I don't think they need to go crazy with expensive materials or change the movement - but make little tweaks to the winder (square it off instead of rounding it) - change the font of the numbers on the bezel and give it a black bezel.

I mocked this up - I don't think I have priveledges to post pics in my response - it's pretty rough and I'd do different markings on the bezel, but you get the idea...http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/qq30 ... oncept.jpg

Interesting concept.... hmmmm...well I don't hate it.... I don't love it....but it's definitely interesting. Love the creativity and I love when people posts different design concepts. Keep em coming.
