My first Breitling came at age 30, now 32 and I've been buying one every year for my birthday since as well as some whenever I want but mostly it's become a birthday tradition.

I started buying Movado in grade school and high school with summer jobs, then got my first Rolex my junior year in high school. Got into buying Tissot, Rolex, Cartier, Tag and Omega, Oris and a few others. Through college, had some of everything! Went through my bling phase, Jacob & Co., diamond Rolex, etc. Breitling, IWC, Panerai, JLC, AP, PP, Vacheron are my grown and sexy, over 30 loves. Breitling provides a lot of that all in one!

Around 21 or 22 for me. I forget exactly, but it wasn't long after I bought my first "expensive" watch which was a quartz Omega SMP. Since then I've been through probably 20 Breitlings and a similar number by other "prestige" brands.

I'm now finally building a collection of keepers.

An ever changing collection.....

Was given first Breitling when 18 as HS graduation gift (B2)

Bought second Breitling when I was 24 (Chrono-Matic).

Bought third and fourth this month and I am 26. (Breitling for Bentley GMT and Super Avenger "volcano")

Props to the OP for such a young age of first purchase! Beat me

26...recently purchased a Colt GMT auto. Still a bit outta my price range, but I had to have one! I will, hopefully, be adding more to my collection in the near future.

First was an Old Navi II when 21, graduated from flight school and got my first job. Pretty big events in my life i'd say, i'll never part with that watch for that reason.

Had one for my 19th Birthday

First one i bought myself at 23.

My first one was a B-1 at 24 or 25, first one from AD was Steelfish at 25 and then i have at 26 Breitling Hercules and at 27 Navitimer and now i have Chronomat Evolution. First my expensive "adult" watch was a legend Omega Speedmaster Pro fessional "Moonwatch" at 24..
