I am fairly certain the warranty card that the AD sends in, the one with john travolta, has the serial number as well as the purchase date. BUSA probably goes off of that.

It would be one thing for Breitling to refuse warranty service on a watch that is obviously outside the warranty timeframe, but I have a watch that is within reason but I don't have a dated warrant card and they refuse service, it would be the last Breitling I bought.

Most independant watchmakers charge $100 for a complete service and cleaning but yet BUSA charges $400++. They are making a killing on service work.

Well, I called them with the serial numbers and they were pretty rude, and said " Good until xx/xx/xxxx and they hung up on me. :shock: I was like, OK? So they do keep records!
