Hello,
Thanks for bagging me.... that is really appreciated....

Very big of everyone to laugh at me and my vidoes when the said people do not post videos of themself....

You want to laugh at me??? GREAT.....

Personally I had issues owning a watch after being on this forum..... are these the "type of people" I really want as friends? Are these the type of (to use a Patek word) "values" I aspire to?

I find it very hard to own a watch which is essentially a reworked Val. 7750 movement.... just like a Hamilton......

I bought the Patek for the movement.....

Anyhow.... I am so pleased I will not be in this "group" for much longer.....

If this is directed at me "Your Welcome" and there are many pictures of me on the forum(I do not do videos on youtube) I also do not brag about what I own (and you once declaired that you OWN your wife  ) or can afford. I have many toys and I have worked very hard to be able to afford them. Like you I went to my school reunion recently (That I organised), I wore jeans and a T Shirt and drove MY BMW 520M Sport, the main word here is not BMW but MY, Meaning I bought it and I own it. I could have borrowed my brothers Porche and put a very expensive suit on my credit card but WHY would you do this? You live in a made up world that you can not afford and PRETEND to be something you are not. How very very sad, if you were a half decent human being people would like you for you and not what you own. Grow up, respect your wife, love your children and try and grasp the concept of REALITY.

From Wikipedia.
Troll:
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response.

Once again Archie has succeeded.
Congrats Arch!!

Saw this thread, read this thread, can't think of anything to say that wouldn't involve me climbing on a soap (powder) box, so will simply say..........

Bye Archie, enjoy your life, learn to love and appreciate the people that make your life what it is, and I hope that 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 years from now you don't look back on this time in your life with regrets or a wish that you had done things differently.

Is it rude to mention the luxury items he surrounds himself with, apparently ignoring the 50lbs he needs to lose?

Image IS everything, as long as one can purchase it.

if your that ugly you need to surround yourself with nice things. that way people will look at the watch and the car, not your face or your rotund physique.

Wow guys! What's with petty remarks about looks/weight? :?

Not something I'd expect to see in this forum, no matter how arrogant or pretentious Archie comes across!

It's certainly not going to help matters.

I agree 50pounds (22Kg) .... i should lose this..... I enjoy good food - SORRY, I DO NOT FIT YOUR VIEW OF WHAT I SHOULD LOOK LIKE! Please post pics of yourself so I can also tear you to shreds! (only if you have the balls).

Of course I love my kids..... hence the reason they are in my photos....
Reunion was for ex-students only.... so no wife or kids.... MY WIFE IS MY MOST IMPORTANT ASSET! KIDS A CLOSE 2ND! Luxury goods - yes I love but I would trade the lot for my wife!

I am actually a big environmentalist....

I belong to the COMPACT - google user group.

At the compact we commit to buying only USED GOODS for 2 years!

All my cloths, watches, stuff is all preowned!

You will see that buying a Louis Vuitton suitcase is a "once in a lifetime purchase" because it lasts so long! then it becomes an heirloom!

Same with my Patek..... it is not a DISPOSABLE watch.... no environment destroying batteries... it is an heirloom..... NO ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE!

My clothes for my reunion were all old..... SUIT - Zegna cloth (bought about 5 years ago), shirt - purchased from a friend 2nd hand, shoes - Country Road, bought from LifeLine Charity shop, Tie - Dunhill, bought used on ebay......

I am actually a great environmentalist.... I choose the best goods in the world.... and they last a lifetime.... saving the earth's resources....

As for the comment on cars.....

I we own 2 cars -

2008 Honda Accord 2.4
2004 Mercedes Benz E320

The Pagoda is a good friends..... I am selling this car on carsales.com.au for AU$65,000-

I never pretended the car was my own - infact I think it is more exclusive to have a good friend lend a "luxury treasure" than to own the said item!

Which car do I prefer out of all of these?

FOR SNOB VALUE - E320
FOR CLASSY MOTOR - Pagoda Mercedes
BEST CAR FOR ME, BEST CAR TO DRIVE, BEST CAR TO OWN FOR RELIABILITY/SERVICE COSTS - Honda Accord

The E320 just had it's drivers head rest button replaced..... at the crazy price of $650-
That is rediculous..... all because Mercedes is a big rip off.....

Mind you... the E320 certainly makes a statement! (hence the reason for owning).

Loads of me here

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6608

Again Fill your boots. The point I was making is that you value materialistic items far too much. I believe you do love your children very much but what are they learing watching their father Buy a watch, borrow a car and make up an imaginary live to impress people at a school reunion

You should have turned up in YOUR car wearing a watch you could AFFORD and enjoy the evening. Just listen to yourself, you are like a opera singer - ME ME ME ME ME...

Told you so...

Good luck with the sale.

We'll just see how lucky we will be, I'll miss you Archie. I think you're hilarious and good for a laugh (at) but that's about it.

Archie

I suspect they are not going to remember a thing about the watch or the car but I bet top dollars they are going to remember "The GUY" who spent all his time showing off a car that didn't belong to him and some "Whatever its called" watch.....
