Most of the weekend it was the new Navi 01 LE at the Hong Kong Rugby 7s.
However anyone who knows a bit about the HK 7s would agree that the "Emergency" would have been more much more appropriate

But than I could not help it when this evening I came across this at the Omega Boutique at Hong Kong Airport which I thought was as close as I'm gonna get to a clean "007" serial number
Mrs. Wessa will kill me :(

Wow what a pick up Wes!!! Well done sir. Let us know if she changes the locks...and if not, how you were able to get away with this one. :-)

Ok ... a couple things here. First I am looking high and low for vintage Superoceans, no luck yet

They're being offered once in awhile but there's always a lot of interest in them so prepare to pay top $$ , price range from 2k (some people are very lucky to find one for that price) to 3.5K euro or more

second...what are the chrono looking pushers on this watch for?

for the Chrono ! :D
the central hand is really a very big minute counter to keep track of dive times, not a large second hand as you may expect as this model really doesnt have a seconds hand

Awesome by the way

thanks , I like it a lot ! and with its 42mm bezel its great but looks bigger

@Dracha: yep, some find them for 2k (even freshly serviced by Breitling Germany for 1k  ), others snap up V72 806s or 765AVIs for a song ... it is a game of patience, lots of luck and a bit of knowledge.

@WillyB: there are a number of vintage SuperOcean, 2005s are rare, 2105 are rarer and then are the 1004 and the 807 that either require quite deep pockets or a lot of luck to find.

one additional info about the 2005 "chrono function", the eye above 6 shows either black like in Drachas wrist shot when inactive, yellow when running or a small yellow dot when stopped but not reset.

Wearing my Reverend Moon today.

That solar AP-1024 moon is a star...+1s/month. Heavenly. Get it? Sun, moon, star? Ha ha. And to think, you read this sheet for free ;)
