I checked with George on Friday to ask how well the Superocean IIs actually sell. I know he has and he said they sell very well for them.

That pleases me for the ADs. George may have a broader audience than most ADs though.

While some of these are pretty unimpressive I have my eye on that "Flying Fish" I think that the colour combo with the B01 dial goes very nicely... does anyone know if they stamped "Flying Fish" on the back of the case? (I truly hope not)

The watch is nice but the name is really cheezy!!

With the latest models, they've stopped listing the case thickness. It used to be a consolation that, as bad as the site is, at least they provided us with all the pertinent stats on the watches. Evidently, even that doesn't hold true any more.

They stopped listing not only the thickness, but the weight as well

I don't remember them listing the thickness ever. Even the sales handbooks don't list the thicknesses. I always had to look here for that info.

It used to be there, everything about the watch was there. Diameter, thickness, weight, lug width, movement. It was great compared to other sites where it's hard to find even the model name.

Look again. They still do list all the stats for the older models; it's the new models where weight and thickness are missing from the technical data.

Maybe my memory is faulty, but last year I don't recall Breitling essentially blowing it's entire wad at the start of Basel....and all over their website.

I was wondering about that also. Doesn't Basel go until the 31st? Does everyone release all there new models in the first 2 days and then just let people drool over them?

Most of the announcements are early on. I don't remember what Breitling did last year, but they always announce most on the first day.

I like the flying fish very much. I also like the Chronomat 41 (good size) and the Transocean Chrono. The rest I'm either iffy on or outright dislike. A large selection this year though.
