Fred I have had this watch for about a year. I bought it in a jewelry store in Maine and it came with the original Breitling Geneve box. I hardly ever wear because it is in mint condition. Your Geneve is beautiful also. What model # is it. I have never seen one like it.

@Rick, wear the 815 Long Playing more & wear it in health, it is very nice !

Today´s DDOV is a 1969 ref. 7650 AVI, the last "historic design" with the Venus 178 & 15 minutes counter b4 the "big case" AVIs,
some history here http://forums.watchuseek.com/f39/breitl ... y-112.html, the AVIs (and before that the "Breitling 8" 734 and 765 "non-AVI" of the late30s) were the original Breitling Aviator watches, well before the Navitimers.

@Dracha: as I said, monogamous interlude, will not take too long & took this one one to dinner yesterday, the AVI is not a jacket&tie watch, so no two full days:

Hope the Dose of Vintage is not too much for other members ?

Man, you vintage guys got me all but forgetting about new watches. Looks great, keep em coming. Here is the closest I can come with a retro-strap-look on a new piece.

Once again...configure the watch and then decide on the shoes. Jousting with some hard headed lawyers in Chicago today so I'll need the Wolf. It's going to get deep.

...and BTW, really like that vintage gold chrono above. I've gone away from gold in the past year, but that's nice.
