Thats what I was gonna say. And if you cant wear it, just manually wind the crown every day and see how accurate it is. Step #1 has to be to take the winder out of the equation.
My guess is that it is winding down on the winder, and then restarting with every other cycle. Just wear the darn thing and test it in real world situation, its too nice to sit on a winder anyways.
