You're undoubtedly right Altair, but IF it get's scratched it's an impossible repair unless you recase it (or swap out the bezel if it's that that is damaged).

But a lot of guys won't be bothered by that as they aren't as anal about scratches as I am! :oops: :wink:

Most definitely!! :lol:

DLC (while still applied via a PVD based process) is a heck of a lot tougher than standard PVD coatings. Most if not all of the older PVD coatings were purely decorative, whereas DLC tends to be used to increase the lifespan of tool and machine parts. Hence it is infinitely tougher compared to the older decorative coatings.
