I called again on Monday and requested it again. They said they still have people requesting the old chronolog so that could be the reason for the delay.

CRAP. I called BUSA and aksed them to send me the new chronolog. I tried to verify whether it was the 2009 version and the lady on the phone just responded "i have no idea." If you she doesn't know and she works at BUSA, then who does???

I was also disappointed to hear that they did not have any more bentley catalogs. It's the one that I'm more interested in because I'm hoping to get one soon. Oh well. We'll see how long it takes to get a response.

By the way, is everyone else just using the contact information that was supplied under "contacts" on www.breitlingsource.com??? Is there a better email/phone number to use? Also does it make a difference whether you use the toll free number?

I'm guessing another reason for the delay is that they mail everything in bulk. Today is the 10th day and still nothing. Oh well.

Well mine arrived at home yesterday - unfortunately I'm NOT at home but will get it soon enough I guess.

That took about 4 or 5 days I think.

Number for BUK is:

0207 636 5200 - push button for "sales"

They're really very good at BUKHQ

Yep, agree on fantastic BUKHQ, got mine today... and probably would have been here sooner if not for Royal Mail's incompetence..

i went to the local AD, Ernest Jones, today to pick up my 09 chronolog. I asked the sales lady if the latest breitling chronolog is in and she said

"we only stock the models on display so if its not there we haven't got it"

i had to (reluctantly) tell her that i was in fact after the catalogue and not a breitling watch. the quality of some of the sales people in these mainstream dealerships has really dropped and i use to feel uncomfortable trying on watches if i wasn't going to purchase but now i love trying on watches and picking holes in the sales assistants knowledge. just ask them what type of calibre movement does the watch in question have and they'll stare at you blankly. lol. i'm not dissing the sales assistants but at least read up on what you are selling!!!!

Brilliant...........

...............maybe the 09 Chronolog is a new model at Basel World

So - did you get the book?

I've not been in a sales role for around 16 years but the priority is "know your product".

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. But for some reason, this week, I received another copy of the chronolog as well as the new breitling for bentley catalogue, which has the GMT.

I have to say, the GMT does look very good in the Bentley catalogue - but only in Gold on rubber (which is the main photo). The others really don't do it. Don't think I would ever buy it, but the Gold / rubber really stood out in the catalogue.

I totally agree. Unfortunately, I checked the price list and it's over $40K....not gonna be able to afford that anytime soon. But yes, I love the gold/rubber model.
