Rolex DSSD never comes off unless I'm changing the strap. Eat sleep and well, you know shower and everything else. I also have done the same with Super Avengers and much larger Oris models.

I think I'm going to try sleep with mine on my arm. I've bought a new Chronospace and the Luminous will hopefully be good enough. I often wake up at night and never know the time. It's been resting on my bedside table but that's too far away for me to see.

I doubt if the lume's going to show at night.

That worked well. I slept with the watch on my arm. Woke up in the middle of the night. Wondered what time it was. Lifted the watch and WOW. I could clearly see the time. The luminous works very well. I'm not sure if I'll sleep with it on my arm again. It does feel a little funny.

I only sleep with my watch (a Casio Pathfinder) on when backpacking or camping - in virtually all other places there's a readable clock. Whether sleeping under the stars or in a tent, waking enough to find a watch, orient it and check the time is a PITA if it's loose - and hasn't been pilfered by a thieving varmint looking for a salt lick.

ive got a super avenger and a montbrillant......way too big to keep on my wrist while in bed. they're just big, clunky and heavy.....plus it just feels uncomfortable on my wrist (any watch) while i sleep.

once i feel asleep with a watch on....and somehow i ended up resting my wrist (with the watch on) on my forehead....left a nice mark

I take off the day-date wear the steel ones. Sometimes I have a gun under the pillow or my cross on and I don't want to scratch it.

In America we tend to be taught to actually see your target when shooting; I think Washington said "don't shoot til you see the whites of their eyes", they teach us that in elementary school. Then when you get your gun and training you are always supposed to be aware of your target and whats behind it. So I don't understand your bladerunner case as a reasonable act. However the NY hatchet terror lone wolf when they shot him they did hit a bystander, that unfortunately is understandable because it was a crowded area.

I think you have to ask yourself if you believe the world is really safe or getting safer, or if you trust in man or government. I trust in God.

Dude. Here in SA we have 64 murders per day. We sleep with Guns, electric fences, walls and gates. We have real threats here. Not sure about you in the US. Even considering that none of us agree with the court ruling on Blade-runner. He's one of those guys that think his untouchable. A real gun wheedling asshole. Guns is a real serous responsibility. Not for kids like Blade-runner.
