Welcome back Mark!

That Motors is just stunning. Very very beautiful and you have all the right reasons for wearing it. I wish you all the best with both the watch and of course with the expanding family.

Beautiful Motors! I agree that it looks more copper than bronze.... even though the Bentley catalogue calls it bronze. The really weird thing is, the 6.75 bronze is different (i.e. darker) than the Motors bronze. :? Very odd.

A great looking piece.

I agree, I also use a Sony T-100 (size of a deck of cards) and it blows me away.

I tried the new Sony Alpha 14mp DSLR and returned it. I didn't like the colour balance or saturation and found that when compared pixel to pixel with my 8mp DSC-F828 there was no advantage, in fact the 828 was superior in almost all respects. But still the compacts seem to have better light gathering due to the steady shot allowing longer shutter speeds without shake.

Did you try adjusting all that manual stuff? I find with dSLR's in general you have to do a lot of manual adjustment and spring for pricey lenses to get better shots especially with close up stuff.. on the "auto" mode my Alpha does a crappy job.

Definitely, I played with every option and feature. Thats the beauty of buying from the Sony Store, no hassle return policy. I shoot all my artwork in my business digitally, and email or upload to clients. even when using the custom white balance feature I found that the colour depth and representation just wasn't right, the images felt flat and required post processing to achieve the results that I get from my 828.

Maybe I got a bad one? But I decided to wait until the next version to upgrade.

The sony store here charges a 15% restocking fee for returned cameras.
