God, I love that! Think the dial sells it for me. I would probably prefer it on rubber too but thats easy to sort!

I agree. This looks cool. I love the strap. Would love it if it was also available in 22mm for my Aerospace.

Is this the only SA with a 24 hour dial?

Price is a bit high.

I like it. The 24 hour dial is a master stroke and the DLC coating is just right for this model. It will be too big for my wrist but I will sure as heck be trying one on. It's one of the better recent releases, unmistakably Breitling and hopefully an indication that the company is getting back on track.

A BIT high?! WAY high IMO. Still a very nice looking watch though.

Couldn't they have just used the in house movement that they use in the Cosmonaute? Then I can see charging that much for an in house Super Avenger.

Making a 12 hour movement 24 hours is remarkably easy - just swap one wheel, so certainly could be done.

Being a military guy, I like it and would consider it if I wasn't retiring in a month. :) I just don't see myself wearing something like that anymore, and I did own a SA BS. But the issue I have with it, is that the subdial hands are black , i.e. INVISIBLE. :? The SA BS at least had red subdial hands so you could easily read them. If the subdial hands were red, it would be perfect. Cool strap too.

Ooo, good call on the subdial hands. In low light, you probably wouldn't be able to see them at all.

Very cool, but I just don't know about the 24 hour movement (hence my cosmonaute thread). I can see glancing at it under stress and taking a second to do the calculations.... I suppose if you wear it all the time, you'd get used to it.

I just don't know, lol

If you were on a mission stealth would be utmost and you wouldn't want the crystal to reflect the sun giving your position away. Shouldn't it have a cover over the crystal like was the fad in the 60's .....Just a thought

Isn't that why it's coated with AR?

Well the AR is more for the user's benefit, but it has the same effect.
