Same advice as most guys here, never dump your watch on a hard or rough surface or let the bracelet fold in on itself or come into contact with the case back. I keep my CSO on the foam that comes with the service case. My strap watches sit on a micro fibre lens cloth or in my sock drawer. Any other scratches or swirls that come from day to day wear are to be expected unless you lock it away and never wear it. I've just given the CSO its monthly cape cod treatment and it looks just great.

I don't know about polished, but it can be made to look like new or close by re-brushing it. Wear it and enjoy as others have said. The first bump is the worst. After that it is just character. When the time comes it can be made to look like new. Then you can start all over worry about the first scratch. :wink:

I dont mind scratches but hairlines only.
If deep scratches or dents on my watch iit will affect my mood alot

i removed the plastic on the lugs after getting it back from svc ctr today
the watch looks so shiny and bright despite not being polished
will be extra cautious not to bump this watch
