This, in the opinion of most people who see it. If that bothers you then it's too big, if it doesn't, then buy it.

Why not try on the 44mm avenger to compare and contrast? It certainly helped me to make a decision.

IMO, im not a fan of huge watches on wrists that cant support the size.
daveyboy, in that pic you posted i think it looks ridiculous with the lugs overhanging the wrist etc.
it reminds me of a small boy trying to wear his fathers watch. just be honest..

i can easily wear it because i have 8" flat wrists and im a big guy. BUT i would trade wrists size to have a 7" wrist so i could wear a lot more watches. imo 7" wrists top out around 45mm..

With a 7" wrist, go with thE Avenger. It is still large enough to make a statement, and be a daily wearer.

I have an 7.5" wrist and huge hands and just pulled the SA off in my opinion.

I always think coverage of 5/8 or 3/4 of your wrist width is a good start, but it all depends on the watch and your likes/dislikes. I personally have large wrists but I would not go above 50mm for any watch. 55mm looks ridiculous on me, so I avoid larger offerings.

At above 50mm and IMHO, they are usually getting towards ‘clown territory’ anyway. No offense to anyone who loves these larger watches, but I think they usually don’t have anything to recommend them anyway, other than size. I like anything from 44 to 49mm usually. Breilting do these sizes very, very well. Smallest watch I have would be about 36mm and that’s small enough for my bad eyesight!

i think there is no right or wrong one size fits all single answer. only you can decide what is to big or too small. most of the population im sure think B owners are complete idiots for dropping this kind of cash on a watch... but none of us care what others think, do we?

if you even think that its too big, chances are you will always feel that way. dont fall in love with a watch... i did with the navi world and i paid a steep price to get out of it. i absolutely loved and still love the watch. but i was always self conscious of the 46mm size on my wrist so i never really wore it. so my advice to you is - find a watch you love, put/try it on, be in love with the way the watch looks on you, then buy it. if you have any doubts, take a pass. its just too costly an error to correct. i think going preowned would limit the down side but youd prob still take a hit no matter.

i would never buy a maroon colored car as i dont like the color... but there are people out there loving the dream maroon car they bought. hey, its what makes the world go round. it is only important that you like it because youre gonna live with it.

my turn, I have 7.5" wrists and wear a SOH 46. Some watches are meant to be worn big. Nevermind what they might think or say, they wouldn't understand. You know better.

Thats absolutely spot on. In this day and age, there is no reason to be regulated by conventions (if they exist at all). Go with what you are comforatable with.

By the way, nice watch. 8)

I agree that the wach head is too big in the first two pictures. My experience when I bought too large a watch and the lugs overhung the wrist was that the watch never fit very well no matter what the bracelet adjustment was. Ended up selling it after a year. The last two pictures on page 1 seem ok to me.

To the OP's question, it looks clownish. Go with an Avenger.
