I have to bote for the Navi 01 for all the reasons stated above. The LE aspect of the navi is simply due to the clear caseback and white goldwings logo, but everything else bears the same Navi dna. The Speedy however is just one of dozens of LE which IMO has moved these models far from the classic design of the original Speedy pro.

The Navi will have a much larger market if you ever decide to sell, where as the Speedy I can see betting old much sooner due to the niche nature.

Good luck

Not much to ad to previous comments. I´d go with the Navi by a wide margin.

I think Bozman has covered everything I'd say on this one too. If it was my money I'd be picking up the Navi 01, no question.

Sure the red gold Speedy will always have a value in terms of it's gold content alone, but it will cost more to buy in the first place, plus as Bozman said, these Schumacher F1 models are very much a niche product, and even more so in the already slightly niche gold watch market. Bear in mind (if resale is a consideration) that Schumacher polarised opinion considerably during his time in the sport and that will undoubtedly affect people's desire to buy it should you ever look to sell. Personally I was huge Schumacher fan.... but I'd never want a watch with his name on it.

That said, buying into watches with one eye on resale value is just a hiding to nothing IMO. Buy a watch because you like it ; never because of what you think it will be worth in x years time...... you'll always be disappointed.

At the risk of saying yes to Driver8's post.... yep!
