Thanks for that.

The measurements look the same. When measuring the length, it looks like you measured away from the bracelet in the SA1 and toward the bracelet on the SA2. The lug gets longer toward the bracelet.

What about the thickness?

I am sure that Fleetlord's apology is just moments away.

Thank you for posting the pics.

Likes: diamond shaped chrono second hand tip, square instead of round 3,6,9 markers, chimney without slots at each 5 minute marker.

Don't likes: thinner case and bracelet (looks wimpier), copy of rolex oyster bracelet link design, carved numbers at each 5 minute interval on bezel.

Me apologize? For what? Showing it's a bigger watch?

I'm sorry for being right again!!

Go look at one at a dealer and you'll see..

Here's another good shot. To Fleetlords defense, in person it absolutely looks larger. It's quite amazing. The case is shaped differently with the base being longer and the lugs being shorter. Also the crystal appears to be ever so slightly larger on the SA2. With those things in combination with the fact the dial is more recessed on the SA1 (giving it a smaller appearing dial), it does look and feel smaller than its new brother the SA2.

Thanks for the pics Nixmazda. Very helpful.
Think I need to get to my AD and try one of these babies on, I'm actually starting to dislike the thickness of my SA.

Is there any change in the caseback or is it the same?

What's the retail on an SA2?

Caseback is Ti. I believe.

You can configure your specific specs on the Breitling site - about $5,500 on bracelet.

Is the caseback Ti on the avenger 2 also? Any idea why they went with a Ti caseback, just to make it lighter?

I think so, but not 100% - others will delight in correcting me if I am wrong, and I assume that it is a weight issue alone.
