Hmmm... direct flight from Salt Lake City, Utah to Paris... short Chunnel ride to London to pick up a lockbox at the steal of a price of 10 for a penny... I think it might just be worth the hassle!

I think it's pretty cool.

But I have a question, why lock it if it is so small and light, and notably not secured down.

I doubt anyone would take the trouble to pick the lock etc where they find it, vs taking it to go and doing it where they have the time to just pry it open.

Doubtful that it was meant for real security by any means, a safe would be smarter, but rather something unique in which to make access to pseudo important items slightly inconvenient. I'm thinking of finding one and locking my kid's phone in it when grounded - he wouldn't dare scratch/damage anything related to my watches :)

The whole point is that it looks like a book. Your not going to start looking through books on a book shelf for valuables.

When George first sent it to me and I opened the box, I was a bit confused thinking it was another book to read, so I did indeed fall for it. At quick glance, I think 9/10 people would as well. After staring at it for 10 seconds you quickly realize its not what you originally thought it was.

Would I keep me rolex in this? Hell no! That is what I have my built in wall safes for!

The bottom line is, it's just ****ing cool! :strummin:

He is asking $150, I think that's a lot for that. Then again you can't exactly go buy one.

I get the novelty, I just don't get the lock. As in, it's not likely to have someone look through the books to find it, but if they did; the lock is useless.

I say pad that thing and line it with something soft, and have a built in wrist shaped pad like a watch box. That would appeal to me a lot more.

You are not going to like to hear this, but I still think of you Tom, every time my wife wears them for me. Creepy, I know. :nana:
