Do you by any chance still have the pictures that the ebay seller used in his for sale listing on ebay?
If so, can the serial number be seen from the pictures? The same serial number that Horological Services claim belongs to a Navitimer.
If not, perhaps an email from the seller with the serial number?
This could help in your case as it would clearly demonstrate that the watch Horological Services examined is the same as the ebay seller was selling, in case he tries to challenge that it is maybe not the same watch.

Do you think Paypal wont be able to issue a refund because I have no pics of the serial number? What happens if he says it isn't the same watch?

You never can tell what Paypal will do or how they will handle it. They are far from consistent. I have had a lot of experience with them and there is no rhyme or reason to their decisions. Have been on both ends of their wrath....
Good luck!

No, I am not saying that PayPal will not be able to issue a refund because you have no pics of the serial number. It definitely would have helped your case though as it would be evidence that the watch examined by Breitling and the one the seller had for sale are the same.

They have a record of the sale if it was made through Paypal. Just have to have patience sometimes dealing with them can be a lengthy process. I had an eBay business for 5 years and every time something went wrong, they or eBay would back me 100%. It sounds like you got the ball rolling. Wait the 40 or so days and see what they say. I'm sure it will all work out. Try not to think too much about it, I know easier said than done..

I faxed all of my info over. Letter from certified service center, emails between seller and I and emails between service center and I. They actually told me not to send them any photos. I had 5 photos from the device center. They said that with the right documentation which it sounds like I have pictures were not needed. So crossing my fingers.

It was made thru Paypal. Sounds like Paypal passed it to ebay MasterCard. My card company. It is a Paypal/eBay MasterCard if that makes sense. So hopefully they have everything they need and I gave them everything they need to issue a refund Just want to move on. I will be calling next week to check in. I plan on calling once a week for an update.

UPDATE!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

eBay Mastercard/Paypal issued me a FULL refund for the fake watch I purchased. I guess the certified letter from Breitling Service Center and the 52 pages worth of emails I sent them was enough. They couldn't have been better dealing with it. They told me 60 days and it took less than 2 weeks. I will be purchasing a just fully serviced Black SA with Brown Croc Strap, full papers, and a 1 yr warranty thru a forum member, hopefully today. Thanks for all of the advice and support thru this. Once the REAL SA comes I will post pictures to update everyone.

As always

I hope it all works out, but I am pretty surprised after what you went through that you wouldn't just buy brand new from an AD. Either way, good luck.

A few reasons. The member I am purchasing from I have done business with before, he has HELPED tremendously thru this whole process and wanted to give him the business. My local AD isnt the greatest and I hate paying tax. Plus the watch is a 2007 model and has the smaller wings which I believe I prefer over the larger wings. At this point at least.

I am glad it did as well. It was a stressful time, that's for sure. I will thank you very much.

It is great news. I appreciate that Watch nut. I called once a week to get updates on the status of the claim. They kept telling me 60 days. So less than 2 weeks is a real win in my mind. I got lucky with the time frame I think. But I did send them a tremendous amount of proof that it was fake and sold to me as authentic.
