Not all of us have your super memory in the morning :poke:

So you wear shirt and pants to bed as well in case you forget to put them on

And good shoes... Doesn't get worse than accidentally leaving the house barefoot on a white winter morning...

Me neither.

I may have said before on here, but a friend of mine once cut his face by wearing a watch to bed. He doesn't wear a watch to bed anymore, apparently......

Wearing a watch in bed just seems like a very strange thing to do to me. Sleeping with something like an SA on your wrist must be like sleeping with a medieval mace strapped to your arm. It's just something to accidentally hit yourself (or your partner) with, or something to get tangled in the duvet. But, as we always say, it's each to their own.

When I go to bed at around 11-ish and get up at 3:30-4AM, the last thing I am thinking about is a watch. And yes, I lay my shirt, suit, belt, shoes, and gear out every night before.

I always wear my watch to sleep, curious why some think it's weird? If I wake up in the middle of the night it's hard for me to see the clock (I'm near sighted), so I just look at the watch.

In movies, I've seen men (including James Bond) wearing
watches in bed. It could be macho issues, along with the
need to time sexual encounters. Travelers are well advised
to wear their watches, & eschewing safes due to highly
unscrupulous persons circumventing security systems.
Women & men wear rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. to
bed, which may be to deter thieves, or they simply consider
them as peripheral body parts that never come off. When
you're watching Skyfall this Fri., see if Bond is wearing the
Omega during his sex scenes.

Whatever watch I have on stays on until I switch watches - including sleeping.

I don't understand why so many find this odd - I've done it since my first watch at age 6.

To each their own.

Cheers.

I always wear my watch to bed and manage to sleep like a baby. Although I've recently had a new bedroom from this place so maybe the wife will insist I take it off to save the new furniture.

I wear my world daily but take it off and lay it in the same place every night , it's just part of the routine.

It has been known to happen that I have gone to bed with very pretty girls but have woken up with some really ugly ones :-(
Having read this thread, now I finally know what it is.
I need to take my chunky Chronomat off my wrist before going to sleep ;-)

Yep, Marilyn Monroe was asked once what she wore to bed and she replied 'Chanel no.5'. If you asked me, I would say 'a watch.' I have always worn a watch 24/7 since my teens, I wear a watch on my wrist at all times, as I really feel undressed without one, even when I'm sleeping. It does have a benefit though, being a shift worker I have varied start times so it's nice if I wake during the night and check how much longer I've got in bed.
