I fiddle with the Chrono function all the while. Not really timing anything, just for the feel of the buttons.

Jlee just saved me some money! I'm going to start using the chrono to track time against the parking meter! Fewer parking tickets is also great ammo in pocket towards justifying the next watch with the wifey!!

TURKEYLOVER also uses the it well!!! :lingsrock:

I'm telling you it's super handy to have a chronograph on the wrist. :lingsrock:

I start my chrono several times a day but only actually check the elapsed time about 15% of the time, but I do find myself reaching for the chrono out of habit when wearing a three hander

I use the chrono, diver bezel, and 0-100 scale almost everyday to calculate billable time accurately.

Having the chrono and diver bezel is nice for timing two simultaneous events with different endings and starts.

I use the chrono/timer often while flying. The slide-rule is nice for helping with some basic quick calculations when I cannot reach the CR-3.

Yes!

I bought my 1st Breitling, a B1, not only on looks, but for the huge amount of functions.

I use the alarms, time zones, and countdown timers.

I guess it's the only one in my collection that is used for all of it's design functions.

I hope I never have to use the Emergency for anything other than telling the time :)

I use everyday at work the UTC and for circular slide rule (run intercept times or time to potential target for different air crafts)

Chrono every morning for the perfect espresso shot, at night for flipping steaks.

Alarm all the time when I travel or need to get up early for work.

The only thing I don't use much is T2. I usually set it to local time so I have a secondary alarm!

I use the Aerospace's functions often.

  • (Day/date): my default setting; it's most often set this way
  • TM: I prefer this to the chrono for timing parking meters -- that way I don't have to remember how long I've paid for!
  • T2: usually always set to GMT
  • CHR: timing response times at work (software performance); also on flights, for wheels on/off deck
  • AL: rarely used; the alarm sound is muffled when it's on my wrist
  • (blank): to synch analog hands w/ digital time
  • (Hr/Min/Sec): hardly used
  • (Sec/Date): if I need a sweep second "hand", such as for determining a pulse count

I use the rotating bezal as a second timezone. I use two timezones at work. 5 is 1, 10 is 2 and so on.

I use it to time equipment run time at work, such as air compressors cycling off and on to gauge increases in air usage or sump pump cycling times to gauge amount of water coming into various sumps. I'd be lost without one.
