I find it odd that an LE of 250 Crosswind made it this far. Not exactly one of Breitling's better creations IMO.

2200 in fact. 1000 black dial, 1000 white dial, 100 black dial with 18k case + 100 white dial with 18k case.

Vote Crosswind :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Interesting that 3 of the 4 remaining are LEs, unless we look at the 01 Navi as including the standard version. I would imagine most votes for it are coming with the LE in mind.

I didn't realize the CW Special was only 250! But I think it is a beautiful watch and have voted for it in every round...until this one. A tad too big for my wrist based upon my experience with the standard CW.

But far more interesting to me is the 39mm Chronomat crushing the competition until this round. I own one and the Longitude version but never saw it coming. To me it is not only a beautiful watch, it represents the zenith of Breitling's comeback and its disappearance the beginning "too big to fail watches," where styling had to be worked around the primary element - size. I can truly say these are two watches I will have with me forever; they are IMO perfect. So much for my take. On with the competition.

I was quoting the info from the relevant page on this site. It says 250, but clearly it was a much bigger run. Irrespective of how many were made, I still find it strange that a Crosswind LE made it this far.

Leave it up for 3 weeks because that is how long it will take for me to choose between the Chronomat 13352 and Navi 01. My worst possible choice.

Wouldn't have been such a problem for you if the semi-finalists had been seeded, as someone suggested. Just sayin'...

Yeah right. But it isn't all about me. (though that would make for a pretty cool world! :superbow: )

Now that the tourney is winding down...

Not too disappointed with the final four but my final prediction...

Navi B01 all the way.

I agree. I was never a fan of the square pushers. The basic xwind was a much nicer piece, IMO.

Bingo!!!

Believe it or not, that is precisely what puts me off the Crosswind special and as such I would have the basic Crosswind over the Special anytime.
Strange how a small thing like the shape of the pushers can make such a difference.
Put the standard pushers on the Special and it is mega but as is, ughrrrr.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels the same ;-)
And I thought I was Special :-) :-) :-)

Sorry Roff but it is a mega plus 1 for jlee5050 on this one, especially given what is left in the race :-)

Not (necessarily) disagreeing, merely pointing out that it's like backing the odds on favourite.

Until you sell me the blue 13352 that is - please be more clear, .

Agree about the smaller Chronomat doing so well thus far, a surprise/dark horse if you will (kinda like the MN Vikings beating the SF Forty-niners this weekend  ) The smaller size with still great styling has been drawing me to these older pieces. Been voting for it all along but it's time may be up :( .
