Yup, the Breitling Source Superocean 42 LE. Ah well, fun exercise and a darned shame.

My woman (the one who made the initial shops) says it looks good but the 6 o'clock one needs to show the metal on both sides :p

She's right, I just didn't feel like going to the trouble to do that. It was late and I was tired :-)

Better?

Sorry, but personally, I much prefer the toothed rubber bezel over smooth sided with rider tabs. But I agree about the 6 & 9, I would have liked to have seen the 3 there, with the date moved to the 22/23 min' position, that would have balanced things up nicely. Or just 3 & 9 with the date a 6 o'clock. Still, in spite of that I still love mine...., LOTS.

I think that's what it should have looked like.

Much; now if only Breitling sees this... (then my girlfriend and yourself will have become watch-designers overnight 8) )

I assume this can be done, although the easiest way would result in a non-movable bezel. It would be awesome if Breitling made multiple bezels for the 44. Then those who like the newer look will win as will the people liking the classic stainless bezel, and then no one gets alienated. Even if it required sending to Breitling, I'd buy a blue SO44 and pay to have the bezel on it...

Looks great with that bezel and I was always a fan of the code yellows as well

Could one of you Photoshop wizards put together a Steelfish with the rubber dive bezel? Just curious. Thanks,

I can send the request to the girlfriend this afternoon when we're both home from work if no one knocks it out before. Any others? I was thinking about perhaps a 2-tone...maybe a DLC or Black Steel on a normal SF or SO44?

I think it actually looks significantly worse than either the Steelfish or the SO44.

Yeah, that dial and bezel simply don't go together at all.

That looks great. I wonder what it would take to actually do that modification.
