Re: Cape Cod

Haven't had any detrimental effects from getting cape cod on the crystal.. you have to rub pretty hard to affect the AR coating.

As for getting cape cod on the brushed, even if you get a bit on and then rub it away you may notice a SLIGHT brightness on the metal from it being polished a bit, but then i just follow that up with a rub with a 30 micron polish cloth and the matte brush is right back.

Thx. Thats what I was looking (hoping) for.

Thanks for the advice broncosport. Tried the pot scrubber on my 50th anniversary brushed finished Navi and all i can say is WOW!! Returned to its fomer glory. Used it exactly as you said with great results. Likewise I showed it to my girlfriend and she was well impressed! :) I took the liberty of taking some before and after pics and will post when i get the chance. thanks again

Well I'm back.

I just tried out this technique on my fish's bracelet.

So...does anyone have a new one for sale?

Just kidding. It worked perfectly! I can honestly say that my bracelet looks as good as it did when I purchased it new.

Thanks again for the tips guys.

Joining this forum as already paid off, glad I found it!

Im glad you had similar results. I was so amazed that I had to show my wife the refinished half before I did the rest of the band. Only problem was that I was so excited to see the results, that I didnt take any before pictures!! I will be taking them the next time, but it might be a while cause the Pro2 is on my silver Steelfish and not my daily worn black Steelfish (rubber strap is back on right now).

No pics??? Tut tut! Well you'll have to scuff it up again so you can take some pics!

(After the stick I got for not taking pics of my SA on a Speed bracelet the first time round, I just had to jump on this one! )
