I'm glad I found this thread as I've felt like these are underappreciated watches.

If I didn't like my SO so much I would have one of these. Maybe in ten years...

Anyways, sorry to hear about your issue with the winding RVD. Hopefully they will take care of it through Breitling for you and it's nothing too serious.

On a side note can someone tell me how thick these are? I've read conflicting numbers. On some sites it's stated as 15.1mm which is the same as my SO. I would think that they are a little thicker due to the chrono.

That measurement does not include the caseback. It is more like 17mm and definitely thicker than SO. I've owned both at the same time. It is really the only complaint some have - too thick for the diameter, but I didn't think so.

Actual thickness from bottom of the caseback to top of the crystal is 17mm. I took the measurement using a vernier caliper.
