Nuff said.

Yeah it's a ridiculous price. Seriously.

In steel it's only about a third of that. Not that I'm going to buy one -- I don't hate the globe but lack of hate wouldn't be enough to make me pull the trigger even if the movement is lust-worthy.

Oh, well in that case I'll get one of each - a mere $12,500 for SS - what a bargain :!: :!: :!:

I'm not saying it's a bargain but given the functionality of that movement (based on what I've read) I don't think that number is too far out of line with other Breitling prices. A Chronomat 44 is what, $8500?

Except that other Breitling prices are borderline delusional these days.

Nope but I see now where Breitling got the idea for this globe from.
Meanwhile, I'm working on something a bit different at the moment but this will have to wait a day or two in case nothing comes out of it ;-)

If they got rid of the globe and chrono subdials it might actually work. Too big too. Shame as it's an interesting watch idea.

 So that's just the globe, the fact it's a chronograph, and the size then! Sounds like a resounding success in your eyes there Tim!

(I totally agree with you BTW)

This one bothers me, for more than just the obvious reasons. The TOC is a sign Breitling still has what it takes to put out good watches (along with the Navi, or course), but then they put out this variant, which begins to shake my faith again. It starts to make the TOC look like a fluke, rather than a truly promising direction for the brand.

have to agree the one in the cideo is a but less "playschooly", afraid this was a preseries prototype that did not yet have the last design changes by Hank on the dial.
