To the OP - I think the posts here are from US/Canada members on price. I for one do not know how/if that differs in Europe. It is possible the price is not out of line for your locale. I would like to hear from some of our European members. Don't want to risk leading you astray.

It's OK you're not misleading me. I know that the prices you're comparing to are significantly lower than EU. I've taking that into consideration. The price the seller provided as a last price is still about €200 from what I'm willing to pay for a 6 year old used BCE. But I'll try to make him realize that he should sell it to me for €2 390 instead of current €2 590. That price would be pretty much in my ballpark. If he is not interested I've already aimed my sights on the new Avenger, A1338012/B995/132A which would be about €2 000 more but with that special brand new smell and warranty. And still the same movement.

From what I've read in the "What made you spend the money"-thread I knew you'd like it. :D

For sure. I had about 30k posts on the subject elsewhere before your join date here.

Out of sheer curiosity though,do you base your opinion solely on the dial and datefont?.

Whoopie for you! :cheer:

For starters I've owned four Evos. Second we evaluate these all the time on this forum - where have you been oldtimer? - and the slight tells of the best fake version are well known. The cardinal ticks at 14, 15, 29, 31, 44, and 46. The presence of the 11 minute tick on the 30 minute sub dial. The date font. And the depth of the date wheel. The precision of the minute ticks on the bezel. The font, size and fill of the arabics on the rider tabs. The shape of the bracelet screw heads. The perfect lume length compared to the hour marker length. The size and flat sapphire crystal on the PIP. The engraving on the clasp and flip-lock is a dead give-away.

Who are you and why am I explaining myself to you? :poke:

BTW, the GIF is stupid.

Haha. A guy that posted these kinda things online back in 2006. Nelson couldnt have posted what you did,at the time. It has indeed been a while since i have BS'd with the folks at BS,this is one of the smallest online watch forums, looking around and making sure you guys are on your game. . At times people base replica opinions on simple tell's that are easy to modify,or have been already by the Chinese. Didnt mean to offend, atleast it brought out a helpfull post on your part. Cheers.
