Correct me if I'm wrong but what I can read between the lines you would rather have a mechanical automatic.
That being the case, I would recommend not to go for this one uness it
REALLY does not make a difference to you whether it is quartz or mechanical.
I fully understand wanting to pull the trigger just because an oportunity seems to be right in front of you. It is called impulse buying. Mrs. Wessa is extremely gifted when it comes to impulse buying

Anyway, with a bit of patience, it is quite possible to pick up a mechanical Colt for around a grand. Even if you need to get it fully serviced it will still end up under 1.5K and will look like brand new.
But that is only my take on this.

Haha! Yes OK, maybe thet is a better description for my problem. There you have it I'm a functional impulse buyer. The automatic is not a deal breaker for me just prefered. Dial color would be though, I love the black look.
