Still got that dam mesh bracelet

That's the first thing I thought of as well

Me too. I don't get Breitling. I'm not saying the mesh is horrible, and I know some people really do like it. But enough people have said they don't like the mesh, and that they would be considering the TO more seriously if it were on a "proper" bracelet, so why the hell doesn't Breitling offer that as an option? What is this insistence Breitling has on not giving its customers what they really want?

That would be very cool...although I still would want it on a proper bracelet.

Not a fan of the mesh either, it is actually quite comfortable but I didn't like the look of it.

I wasn't a fan of the mesh either when I first saw it in pictures. On a whim I tried one on at an AD when I was traveling and my feelings changed...that's the same trip that solidified my need for the TOC. Try one on next time you're at the AD and see what you think.

Today I get a fair number of unprompted comments on that bracelet with the TOC so there must be something to it. I dig it now.

Anyone maybe tried to fit the new-endlink Pilot bracelet instead of the mesh bracelets of the SOH or TO series? Those endlinks do not have a model-specified shape so the fit may look fine... I'm considering mainly the SOHC with the 24 mm Pilot. Would love to see the SOHC shrining to 42 mm though - maybe with a day-date, as the CSO II. has lost the weekday window.
Any input is highly welcome! Best,
Robert

that horrible mesh again bahhh, the dial looks cool :) from what we can see of course

Looks like a cool watch and for one I think the mesh bracelet is great. I get more compliments about my SOH 46 with the mesh bracelet than any watch I own.

My taste buds are with Acro on this one. My initial reaction when buying my TOC was to consider another bracelet option but when the dealer put the mesh on and I put it on my wrist things started to change.
A bit like the uggly duckling turning into a graceful swan.
I would not have it any other way now, even if Breitling decided to offer another option.
I think it adds nicely to the variety of bracelets in my watches collection and it complements the TOC classic look.
That is just my experience and I am not telling anyone that they should learn to like it as well.

Looking forward with anticipation to the new TOC !! On the mesh

Wessa

That's cool. I wasn't saying the TOC (or standard TO) shouldn't be on mesh at all. I'm just saying it would be nice if Breitling would also offer a standard bracelet option. The mesh seems to be more polarizing, so I don't understand Breitling's choice of making it the only bracelet option for a watch head that seems to have fairly broad appeal among Breitling fans.

Wouldn't that mean Breitling would have to start listening to their customers? That would be crazy.
