It smacks of a "rush them out the door" mentality, and it makes me wonder how they actually treat the watches while they're in for a service! Not good at all.

It also raises the question, if they're "rushing them out the door," why in the world does it take them so long to send the watches back?

I got a call today from my rep. Frankly I felt badly for her as she has been a doll all along. She asked my permission to send my email up the ladder. I was surprised that had not happened already, but simply encouraged her to please do so.

Organizational structure is becoming my concern. Still this has been my only negative experience with them, but we sure do see quite a few others here.

Don't know what to think really. Jury is still out in my mind.

Not to be a Homer, but I think it is important that we tend to only hear about the fails. What will go a long way for me is what if anything BUSA is willing to do to make it right now that I chose to have my AD repair the screw up. Pun intended.

Agreed. I was looking at restaurant reviews for Valentines day to try something different. There are far too many bad to fair reviews posted on sites like Yelp and Google. People need to remember that it's much more likely for someone to post a negative review as opposed to taking their time to right something positive. Lets just hope that this was a one off mistake and they correct it accordingly.

Just found an email from Breitling in my inbox and thought it may be their response. Not exactly. It was "Breitling is honored to offer you the exclusive opportunity to bid on the Centennial Limited Edition Airwolf watch package, which includes: "

Evidently #1 of 500 is up for bidding.

No thanks. :(

Ha, got that when I woke up. We're probably exclusively in the group of 1MM they sent it to.

Sharkman, are you in Phoenix ?

If you are the Breitling certified tech at Ganem in North Scottsdale did a bang up job on the service of my Navitimer and it was done in 5 weeks. He told me he goes to Connectitcut once a year for training and he is the only certified Breitling tech in Arizona.

I hope it all works out for you-

Nary a peep from BUSA, but just got word the Chrono Shark work is completed by my AD. Only a week - must have just been the set screw. Sheesh! I'm heading across town now.

Looks like you made the right call: paying $40 for a one-week turnaround sounds much better than having it taken care under warranty and having to wait two more months. Glad to see it got taken care of. At this point, BUSA's response would seem to be academic.
