Good lord, guys. They make a pill for that OCD stuff.

Just do what I do - always wear latex gloves. And not the ones with powder on them because then you will have shiny sh#t with powder on it and that understandably will drive anyone crazy. I also recommend surgical masks to avoid sneeze marks on your polished Lings; which serves a dual purpose along with the latex gloves to avoid all those germ things. Finally try showering with Comet cleanser and a Scotchbrite pad. Soon your polished Ling issues will be a thing of the past.

That's cool and all, but the REAL. Sharkman plan to have a shiny new bracelet is to turn your collection over every 3-4 months, then you are guaranteed to keep 'em looking fresh!!

Just sayin' Sharkie...

My watch an SA although now 2yrs old and worn at all times including showering always gets the recognition of a new watch ......fantastic condition what do you clean it with?..even in the AD shop............if i told this forum what i do with it to get it in such a great condition there would be coronaries all over this board.........you can treat them too well you know, swirls and scratches to get them out with a Cape Cod cloth must be a nightmare.......the CC cloths are for polishing more than getting out swirls and scratches............it really is a simple proceedure and cheap to do too............

Hi Daimler,

Do you have another method of cleaning your watch (sorry but I didn't quite understand what you meant)? I use the Cape Cod cloth and it works a treat on getting both swirls and slightly deeper scratches out - I washed the watch in warm soapy water afterwards and then buffed with a soft cloth. If you have another method, please say here - others may find it a useful tip :) . Of course (if you are afraid of causing heart attacks) you could start the post with a health warning :uplaugh: .

:lingsrock:
