I typically like to take 2 watches with me when I travel...one nice watch and a g-shock.

Of the ones listed in your signature I would go with the GMTIIc.

Thanks guys! I understand the concern. I'm taking the Seiko black monster with me, which I'll be wearing if I go to dodgy areas. I'll be staying in Phuket, so as far as I know is not so bad there.

The GMT seems a sensible choice (is also waterproof!) so that one is on the list. I may pick another one too, my girlfriend loves the Daytona and the Cockpit, I guess it be one of the two.

If you are only staying in the resort areas, wear whatever you want imho. I wore my Pams there last year and never felt a concern. I'd worry only if you're planning to visit the seedy 'exotic' bars..

Not sure she would agree with that, but I see what you mean :wink:

I'm not planning on getting into trouble, but one can never tell. I guess my Monster will have to take the beating for the team. That's its job anyway :lol:
