Not really too much of a problem with the boys except for the rare "sprinkle.". Lol. I was referring more to the wiping of the "messy" changes. Sorry if this grosses some of you out.

Anyway, congratulations on the baby girl. It seems like just yesterday you posted the pictures of the 46 and 38mm soh wedding gifts you guys gave each other.

Thanks! Time does fly. Totally agreed on the messy changes, though I haven't had the luxury of anything that I think would get up as high as my watch, at least not yet.

I always get paranoid about getting certain types of straps wet.. like some of my Panerai straps that darken with moisture. I always take those off if I'm even going anywhere near water. I hate water spots on a strap.

Yes it's a baby boy thing Admin. The cold air of an open diaper very often triggers a pwerful stream straight up in the air... (personal experience w my son).

I wear a watch all the time for the exact same reason why I wear an underwear. It feels "airy" without either...

I often take my watch off when I get home as part of "winding down" but inevitably end up pitting a different one on. Love the discussion about baby wee, we've just discovered we're having number 4. My qn is whether the depth rating for kid urine is the same as water. What depth of wee is the Steelfish rated to? Do we need a new system? Does corrosion need to be taken into account? Do we need a uric acid release valve?

I'd say I wear one at home 60-70% of the time. Weekend mornings and wind-down time I don't have it on. Come to think of it, though, I think I wore one at home more before I had nicer watches.

Congrats on #4. I have 3 and had a few #4 scares. My wife's been pushing me for a vasectomy but I can't get my self to do it. Plus if # 4 comes it'll give me an excuse to buy another watch. Lol. Congrats again.

I've changed many a diapers with my watch on. Thank goodness for high WR ratings. Lol.

I got a baby girl, and I don't seem to have this problem.. is this a baby boy thing?

I usually don't wear a watch at home because I'm often typing and I don't like typing with a watch on.

i have a daughter too and there have been a couple of crazy diapers that almost got my watch. so now i just dont wear one while changing diapers :D

I change watches depending in my mood and the 806 is the only watch that I take off during the night

Otherwise it's on or I change for a other ling

If I am going for wakeboarding then I change for my seiko diver watch
But shower ore washing hands is a perfeckt time to clean my watches. I test water resistant frequently

Only time I take mine off is sleeping and cooking. I bathe shower and do whatever else in mine.

The only time I don't wear a watch is in bed or in the shower, or for DIY. Other than that I feel odd if I don't have a watch on.

CONGRATS!!! I love babies, but both of ours were difficult births and so we're probably done :(

To stay on topic (wee), I simply open diaper, quickly place a clean baby wipe over the spout, and proceed with regular diaper change. Most leaks happen immediately while still on the dirty diaper. No worries abt the causticity to our precious Lings! :lingsrock:
