Thanks so much everyone, I really appreciate it.

I plan on checking out the steelfish and superocean this weekend!

The only problem is measuring his wrist? He is 6'1 I dont know if that will help me guess his wrist size. I actually thought that what you all meant by size was how big the face of the watch would be lol (newbie mistake). I guess going bigger is better and he can always have it sized right?

Also, how do you all feel about getting the watch engraved? Is that defiling the watch? I don't want to ruin it, but I am a chick, we like to personalize stuff. I dont want to write a sonnet or anything on it, maybe just his date of birth and then "Love, N" or something.

If thats a bad idea im ok with it just want to know what you all think.
Thanks again for everyone's input, I really appreciate it.

:)

I think that engraving it is a great idea - it's a gift from you so it's going to be a 'forever' watch so make it even more special for him.

The "face" watch is exactly what we meant. We asked for his wrist size to get an idea of which size would look best for him. For example, if he has really skinny wrists a larger Breitling may look like he's starring in a rap video, although some people like the way a large watch looks.

As far as the bracelet is concerned you can have it sized down, as you said, or add links if you need.

Good luck. You came to the right place for help.
