1) I am still surprised as to how so many of you are expecting VIP treatment when you purchase a watch. The boutique might be more patient in showing someone 30 different models to try on and give you a chronolog etc...but this expectation that the AD's should have a parade when you walk in the door is mind boggling. They are jaded salespeople who deal with BS all say. We all EXPECT them to be smiley face wonderful, but alas they are not.

I dont know why this surprises you. Some dealers go above and beyond to make their customers feel like a king. No need to shop at a dealer that doesnt treat you well.

Boy I must hang out at ADs that feed their staff happy juice all day. Of the 4 stores here from which I've bought more than one watch, I've been treated wonderfully starting with the first purchase.

That said, FL is right - we don't have the right to EXPECT them to be attentive and smiley faced. But if I encounter anything less than that, I'm walking. Why on earth would I willingly subject myself to a miserable buying experience? I'm not a miserable sort, I don't hang with miserable sorts, and I surely will not do discretionary business with miserable sorts.

Sincerely,
Pollyanna

I never saw a brushed deployment buckle before...thanks for the heads up. The polish would get trashed quickly, so hopefully this stands up to the test.
