Yeah but the display back is one of the inclusiev things that set the LE apart from the regular production. Frankly for the premium I paid for the Navi 01 LE, I would be a bit upset if the regular production Navi 01 had everything that mine does.

I dont like the yellow gold on the dial.

I agree that the Sapphire Case back would cost more but I still think many buyers of the Navi 01 would opt for this given the option.

I think the Navi 01 has one of the best looking display backs ever. And to see that glorious 01 movement is a real bonus.

Maybe a standard Navi 01 with display back is around the corner. After all, they have done exactly that with the Transocean Chrono which indeed does pee off LE buyers including me. What is consistent with Breitling is their lack of consistency.

Agreed. There seems to be little forethought into Breitling's decisions as of late. I was an early adopter of the Chronomat B01, purchasing it just weeks after it was released in the US. To have an LE display back model released the following year REALLY peeved me. It's the complete opposite way the B01 should have been introduced.

I don't mind the fact that Breitling has decided to put a display back on the standard Transocean, but they should not have released an LE version of it. At this point, what makes the LE version any different than the normal version? I silly number engraved on the side does not count for much. I would be upset as well if I were you.

I prefer batons but do like the looks of this one as well. What makes no sense AT ALL is no display back. A Cohiba has more water resistence than a Navi. Put a display back on it for christ's sake. :guns:

Display backs push fence sitting browsers to cash paying customers. And any price increase would be small.

True. Just remember all who bought the SABS just to find the ASBS identical a short while later. Or was it the other way around? I mean, even Breitling themselves mixed them up completely on the webpage...

I definitely like the arabics over batons. Gives it much more of a tool/instrument look dating back to Breitling's roots.

I'd be wanting a refund if mine had those loose register hands!!

But seriously, I'm not as sold on this one as I was with the previous Arabic model. I'm not sure if i like the new font.

Whoa... I thought the numerals were white (luminova) . I typically do not like polished steel arabics (or batons for that matter) on black dials, looses the contrast (and just took away the instrument look).

Oh, that is really grim, I don't like that at all.

I'm a little surprised by the reaction to the real world shot. I think that the decision to use polished steel arabics is an odd one, and it's not my taste, but I don't find it that bad (at least relative to some of their other recent pieces) - maybe I've just got lower expectations.

Why does Breitling insist on using that bracelet. That and the mesh need to go away quickly. Oh, I think the applied Arabics looks horrible also and I don't know if it's just the pictures, but the dial looks weird to me. It doesn't really look black, more like a really dark gray or maybe I just need some sleep.
