My source informs that Breitling confirm normal production Transocean 01's WILL have a display back as with the Limited Edition. Good news for fans, but slightly disappointing if you have bought an LE thinking it would defined by having the display back. :-|

Mark these words - the TO is going to become a significant seller for Breitling. No word on UK pricing yet.

I like the silver dial with black subs, but I'd put it on a croc strap over the calf leather.

One thing that has me confused, and this maybe confirms that some of the folks at the design department are bit off, but why would the LE Transocean's come in a Black/Silver sub-dial and solid silver dial, and then the non-LE come out with an all Black dial and a Silver/Grey sub-dial option.

Wouldnt it make a bit more sense to differentiate the LE with both of the models having solid dials or the other way around? Why mix up the two?

Personally I would order my preference as so....

1.Silver dial
2. Silver/Grey sub-dial
3. Black dial
4. Black/Silver sub-dial

Although I wont mind getting the added clear caseback when I make the leap to this model, but it is sort of a kick in the nuts to the LE buyers :wowzers
