Agreed, I was just trying to show the difference between the amount of the 18k in both respective watches. The stainless Daytona, as we all know is a freakish comparison. Personally never understood it and it just looks so dang small (the Daytona that is). :wink:

OK, the wifes Starliner arrived today and now after looking it over I can officially say that the gold bracelet links are , whitout a doubt, rolled gold over stainless steel cores. The front and the back of the links are gold but if you look at the links while bending the bracelet you can clearly see the steel core.

That settles that....
