I finally got my first Breitling yesterday (Navi World, Blue face and Subs with steel strap). I love it and have an insurance question. I bought it used (6 months old, flawless condition) from watches.co.uk. See http://www.watches.co.uk/archived-watch/7503/breitling-navitimer-world-a24322/!

Love the watch, but for insurance purposes, I told my insurance company the price I paid, as they were new. Should I, as advised above, get a catalogue price and pay the insurance premium?

That's a company for your insurance company - you need to check what you are covered for. If all they are going to pay out in the event of a loss is the price that you paid then that likely won't be enough to replace the watch, insuring for replacement cost will ensure that you can replace the watch.
