Bling Man indeed! :)

If you're going to ice-up your timepiece, then I agree that genuine Breitling equipment is the only way to go IMHO. Diamonds are (currently at least!) a little too dressy for my personal taste, but I must admit you have done it in a classy manner. Nice work.

Just as long as you don't become tempted to have any rocks set into the case/dial/bracelet, etc!

Driver8,

Just bezels, no case diamonds or any of that Hip Hop style stuff. Just reasonable bezels.

Excellent news Ling Man. Fine Breitling timepieces should not be subject to any of that case and bracelet butchery nonsense that we often see on eBay.

Yeah,

I've seen some that are really ridiculous. We have a jewelry store here that had a Bentley I looked at about a year ago that some guy did a HACK JOB on. It had this Diamond bezel that was too big that you couldn't even turn, it had all this overdone bling all over it and it looked like hell.

OK, looking at your Bentley diamond bezel makes me want to get a diamond bezel for my new 6.75! That thing looks AWESOME and as Goldilocks would say, it is "just right" in balance of both flash (aka BLING) and subtlety.

damn bro that bentley really looks gorgeous. i tried one on at my jewelers, same thing as your the motors with the 3 karat bezel except this one had the custom white mother of pearl face with begets in the hour markers. it was a real nice custom look.

Yeah,

I enjoy them both but the 3 carat Bentley bezel is really the great one. It really changes the watch completely. I'm happy with my SA diamond bezel too though because I was never happy with the brushed bezel it came with. I don't like DULL finishes on watches. Today I have been looking at the SA bezel and I'm enjoying the rider tabs being polished instead of brushed like the stock bezel. I guess I've just caught the BLING bug !

Now here's an example of getting "Out Of Hand" with BLING. Driver8 don't worry I will never get this carried away.

i dont understand why anyone would want to wear that. it looks like jewelry from an indian tribe lol. but hey i guess the saying to justify that piece of jewelry (cause its no longer a time piece) is "to each his own" or however the saying goes lol.

Guy's,

It's like I have been saying on this forum for over a year now. There is a"level" of elegance and then there's just plain EXCESSIVE, GAUDY GARBAGE. But there is a difference. Others have said that an all gold Bentley on an all gold Speed Bracelet is "Pimp" material. That is just PLAIN BULLSHIT. I can put on a very conservative dark pin striped suit in Navy Blue or Black let's say, with the proper shirt, shoes and accessories and wear an all Gold Bentley on an all Gold Speed Bracelet and if all of the accessories are properly balanced the watch is very "Noticeable" but it's not a "Pimp" watch, it's just a very elegant and BOLD watch. A lot of this has to do with age and what you are accustomed to wearing and the way you carry yourself. I will admit that because I live in S. Florida and the way I dress I am sometimes construed as a "Tony Soprano" type as I am half Italian but I can assure you that "PIMPS" don't have the STONES to mess with me even if they see me stumbling out of a bar at 2:00 AM initially looking like an easy mark to roll me for what I may be wearing or carrying. At the same time I have spent the last 30 years or so in executive positions and am now a business owner. I assure you that there has never been a business related affair or business related meeting where the participants have gone away from one of them saying that "Ling Man Is A Pimp". I mentioned earlier this week that there are "differences", "similarities" and "identities" the ability to differentiate between these 3 is a sign of SANITY. In other words "A" can only equal "A", "A" cannot equal "B", there may be an "A" you encounter that is "similar" to a "B" but it is not in fact a real "B", it may be "similar" but not IDENTICAL ! I went to my office today wearing a pair of black dress slacks, black dress shoes, a patterned very fine mercerized cotton pullover shirt with my Super Avenger and it's new Diamond bezel. I can assure you that if I had encountered any "Pimps" along the way they would not have asked me to join their organization. So lets get real here on this subject once and for all and remember that we need to DIFFERENTIATE between similarities, differences and identities. It goes like this : Differences are DIFFERENT, Similarities are SIMILAR and Idenities are IDENTICAL ! Let's do our best to PERCEIVE which is which ! However, with everything that I have just said here I STILL maintain that if you put a Super Avenger on a RUBBER Strap and it's not for the purpose of diving you need SERIOUS GUIDANCE and COUNSELING ! Even if you are a PIMP !
