Truth be told, I think I'd prefer it if it were a little thinner - say 14-15mm

:yeahthat Love all the dial combos on this model!

Congrats on acquisition and I've also never been disappointed with George's service

Yeah, when I get a chance, although I haven't mastered my watch pic technique the way some around here have.

Just thought I'd mention, as I've been wearing the CSO around today, the Pro II bracelet has been growing on me. I'm starting to think it's no comedown from the Pilot, and serves the look of the CSO very well.

I actually think the pro II is the most comfortable. Not.the nicest looking, but fits it's spot and easy on the wrist.

I just picked up a used Breitling CSO blue dial on Pro II. Can't wait for it to arrive yeeeeeee! Thanks for the responses everyone.

Just curious, although the Steelfish case is 44, it looks like the bezel doesn't reach the edge of the case unlike the CSO. So do the dials look about the same size on the wrist?

Nice pick. Congrats. That was my first Breitling.

The SF and SOC dials are very close - SF is 31mm and SOC 30mm.

Congrats, wear it well! You can't go wrong with a CSO!

:uplaugh: Yes, it's almost hypnotically shiny, isn't it? When I hold mine, sometimes I just sit there staring at it, thinking, "My preciousss...."

Haha!

And thanks everyone! This will be my first polished Bling so I'll see how it looks. All I know is that I saw a Chronomat Evo for the first time in the wild last month and after that I NEEDED a polished Breitling chrono... and voila!

For Jackson, Sharkman, and whoever else owns the CSO, does the 20mm to 18mm bracelet feel kind of awkward or small or is it "just the right size"? I am a 22mm bracelet fan myself and hadn't worn many with a 20mm and was just curious as if you could tell any difference.

The 20/18 bracelet does have a slightly narrower look than the 22/20. But the CSO has a 42mm diameter, which is smaller than the watches featuring the 22/20, so I think the narrower bracelet is still well in proportion with the watch head. It's a heck of lot better proportioned than the 22/15 bracelet on the Rolex Deep Sea, imo.

Hi all,

I sold my pristine Steelfish several months ago and boy do I regret it, much more so than any watch I've flipped which includes a few modern Omegas.

You should, the Steelfish is maybe the most underrated model in Breitling's range (maybe because of its price?). But boy, it is so comfortable (especially with the OR strap) and versatile.

Actually Tom, I have my SF on OR strap and I think it is very comfortable as well and the holes in kinda remind the SF dial IMO.
