Nice review Stefan. I was there on Wednesday and thought the store was nicely designed. The staff was
friendly and helpful. Great place to see all the different models and try things on but after asking about
prices and potential discounts I am not sure it is the place to buy. Still think you can get better prices from
George at Govbergs.

How does a new member sign up and immediately know that George has better prices? Is this George working incognito?

No it is not George incognito, I learned about George from this site some time ago and have
done business with Govbergs. I only chose to join this site yesterday to make a comment about
the new store and my experiance there. As I mentioned I thought Stefan did a very nice job with
his discription of the new store on 57Th.

Not really sure what your contempt is for George but that is your business. Frankly, I have always
thought that George has continually provided a thoughtful amount of information through his
Breitling Report... Enough said.

I'm not sure about discount, I would doubt it, I wouldn't think they would charge higher than RRP but it does seem as if you would get your Breitling reward there and then if you know what I mean.

For us Brits, apart from our obvious loyalties to our AD's that we may have, even full US RRP is equivilent to the discounted price we would achieve on the provision that you sail through Customs on the way back home.

I'm back home now, feeling slightly jet lagged and very light headed for some strange reason!

But the important thing that all my watches are now released from the safe and synchronised once again!

Stef

Thanks for the review, I am looking forward to going there in the next few weeks to see the Navi B01. Junior's cheesecake is one of the best in NYC....no doubt about it! Take a walk over to Carmine's Italian Restaurant on 44th...great great great family style restaurant.

Carmine's is the best!
I go to the one in Atlantic City often...but not the same.

Totally agree, we ate lunch at Carmine's on 44th, absolutely amazing experience! We had spaghetti and meatballs, one portion is enough for 3 or 4 and the meatballs are the size of baseballs! We weren't brave enough to try desert!! The couple on the table next to us ordered the bread pudding and said it was the best ever.

There's a Juniors down in the market in Grand Central, you can get a huge slab of it down there, and not forgetting Joe's in Graybar Passage for your coffee!

George does not belong to this site. I have visited George multiple times and spoke to him about Breitling Source, of which he has no membership to. George doesn't need to be a member, he has kind people like Justin and myself (and I'm sure many others) who pass him customers; Of which, I take zero commission.

I know right... People need to start sticking to the original topic. :guns: That is what the little PM Button is for.

Glad you had a good trip Stef! :D

I'd agree with the comments so far regarding the staff, they were really friendly and helpful. Those 3D displays were really impressive. It's a well laid out store.

i visited the store 2 days ago as I had a layover in NYC.
It was overwhelming to say the least..eye candies everywhere.
Pretty much every models in every colors.
I was welcome by a young fellow " Ben" very nice, ask me many time if i wanted to try anything on...water or anything else.
sort of described the lay out of the store..and off I went looking around.
They had a few very limited edition..and also had the Chronospace Jet team..on the 1st floor.

Wonderful cabinet, great lighting , lots to look at.
I also saw Breitling the Book upstair in a seating area.
Anyway, worth a Look...
and while you r are at it..go to TOurneau across the road from there..with 3 floors of high end watches.\Breitlng, tags IWC..Panerai...you name it they have it..
Enjoy New York...

Do you think they'd take links out of my Titanium Seawolf Avenger for free?

Thanks for posting about the new store.

I can't seem to find the information as to when the store is open and what their hours are. I plan on being in NYC this Sunday-Monday. I just called their number and here are their current hours:

10am - 7pm Monday - Saturday
12pm - 6pm on Sunday

Almost all Breitling ADs will adjust your straps / bracelets for free. I purchased my Aerospace directly from Breitling in CT. However, I went to Wempe in NYC to have it adjusted (twice) and they didn't ask any questions about anything, and while they were working on it, I was checking out new Breitlings.
