That was my point - why would a US AD dump a piece to the grey market at, or not much above, their cost so soon after they received the piece? It doesn't make sense. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this watch was legitimately sold by an AD in February 2013 (hence that's when the warranty was completed) and then returned and sold on to the grey market then - really a secondary market piece rather than grey.

That is great advice. Always. Grey market or AD does not matter, same advice applies equally.

I am going to continue a relationship with an out of state AD for my future needs. The warranty is valuable to me.

I prefer an AD. The price difference is usually, from my experience, minimal.
